Mobile Counseling Against Right-Wing Extremism in Rhineland-Palatinate is spread across four regional offices in Rhineland-Palatinate. It supports individuals and groups who are confronted with right-wing extremism, racism, and anti-Semitism and want to actively combat these issues. The confidential, free, and outreach counseling is tailored to the individual needs of those seeking advice. It helps people deal with right-wing extremist activities and strengthens their ability to take action in the fight against anti-democratic attitudes. The target groups are individuals, initiatives, associations, schools, local authorities, and other stakeholders. The counseling service promotes prevention, networking, and educational work and imparts specialist knowledge. The Salam Counseling Center offers professional, systemically oriented counseling for dealing with Islamist radicalized or at-risk (young) people. The service is aimed at radicalized individuals as well as their relatives and professionals from the social or institutional environment, with the aim of promoting or accompanying disengagement processes. The aim is to recognize and prevent radicalization processes or to accompany exit processes. Salam also provides advice in cases of uncertainty or misjudgment.
